With locations in London, Bournemouth, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dublin, and Frankfurt, this programme offers the Armed Forces community a unique opportunity to leverage their military skills in project management, risk, compliance, finance, technology, and more.
Since the programme’s inception a decade ago, J.P. Morgan has demonstrated its dedication to veterans, hiring over 900,000 veterans through its ‘Veteran Jobs Mission’. The company also employs 3,000+ military spouses and has awarded over 1,080 mortgage-free homes through the ‘Military Home Awards Program’, underscoring its long-term commitment to supporting service members and their families.
Those enrolled in the EMEA programme benefit from a six-month paid, non-rotational placement beginning each February, with many transitioning to full-time roles based on their interests and skills. Participants gain practical experience, learning directly through real-world projects and developing a broad set of skills supported by formal training in both technical and soft skills. They also engage in company-wide networking, connecting with peers and senior leaders across the firm to support career progression.
Each participant is assigned a mentor and a ‘buddy’ who has completed the programme, providing support as they navigate new responsibilities. With structured goal-setting and access to firm-wide resources like speaker series and ‘lunch and learns’, the Armed Forces community have a clear path to success and career development within J.P. Morgan.
