ABOUT US
Empowering you on your career journey
HOW IT STARTED
It was through my own experiences that Career Pursuit was born
Hi, I'm Helen Massy.
As a military spouse of over 20 years, I have faced the challenges of trying to balance a career alongside military life.
It was through my own experiences that Career Pursuit was born. After leaving a specialist career in the NHS, due to moving with the military, I had to begin a new career alongside raising a young family and moving internationally. On reaching out for support, I couldn't find any, despite going to the local and national military information centres.
OUR FOUNDER
Helen Massy
Military spouse, mum of three, business owner, and founder of Career Pursuit
It took months as there is no central location for partners to find career support.
I slowly learned, predominantly through word of mouth, about the wealth of employment and entrepreneur support available from a myriad of wonderful organisations. But it took months as there was no central location for partners to find career support.
Therefore, I founded Career Pursuit to overcome this barrier. We support spouses and partners on their career journey by bringing all employment and entrepreneur resources into one central point of access. We do the research to provide you with a range of career support options so you can build a flexible career around your military lifestyle.
